Public/Academic Library Career Track

The Public/Academic/Special Library Career Track is designed mainly to serve the interests of students who want to pursue a career in a public library setting, a college or university library, or a special library.  This track provides students with educational experiences in a number of relevant areas, including management, marketing, and resources and reference services.

Courses specific to this track in the FastTrack MLIS program include:  Reference Sources & Services, Government Information Resources & Services, Social Science Resources & Services, and Marketing and Public Relations for Libraries.
