*Please note that part-time tuition amounts are quoted on a PER CREDIT basis. Since FastTrack MLIS students take two courses per term, tuition is calculated on the basis of the amounts presented.

The application fee is $50.00. Receipt of application fee, which is nonrefundable, will be acknowledged by return mail. Applications will not be considered until the application fee has been received.

Unfortunately, the School of Information Sciences does not provide financial aid for part-time students and, because they only take two classes per term, FastTrack students are considered part-timers.

We recommend that you look into the possibility of applying for competitive scholarships from professional associations (e.g., American Library Association, Special Libraries Association, The Gates Foundation, etc.) as well as discussing reimbursment options your employer. Many of those organizations devote several pages to describing scholarship opportunities (several scholarships have application deadlines of March 1; some fall towards the end of October). The majority of them do accept applications from students who have already begun their masters program.
